Meet Tejas Cigar Box Guitar Company builder/artist Charlie Rehfeld .  Charlie started Tejas CBG Co. in 2012 after acquiring a couple of cigar boxes and seeing a few folks on the internet playing cigar box guitars.  He set out to make is first CBG for his musician son, Adam.  Seeing how much Adam enjoyed playing his cigar box guitar, he built himself one and made a few more for friends and family.  The rest is history.  Charlie has not stopped building  CBGs since and Tejas Cigar Box Guitar Co. was born.  Taking his guitars to sell at artisan markets and festivals in and around San Antonio TX, his artistic CBGs became a hit.  So much so that Charlie started custom building for orders from all over the country.   

Tejas Cigar Box Guitar Company takes pride in their handcrafted, one of a kind custom, and unique stringed instruments made from cigar boxes.  Our guitars are built to represent old school tradition with modern upgrades.  Remember our motto, "STAY TUNED"
